It’s hard to imagine, but the Central Square of Vladivostok appeared relatively recently. Only at the beginning of the 1980s there has been arranged mound, on which appeared the area.
It received its name in honor of the monument to the Fighters for Soviet power.
Today the area is used for various purposes: fairs, concerts and a variety of activities, rollerblading and biking.
The area was chosen not only by people, but pigeons too.
