Tiger Day

Tiger Day is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of September. This festival is designed to remind everyone of the importance of preserving this animal.

Tiger Day in Vladivostok has the two most important events: a parade through the main streets of the city and competition.

The main participants of the event – children and their parents. When I first time came to Tiger Day, I was surprised to see the large number of columns and its diversity.

So many tigers for every taste and color I have never seen anywhere!

A huge orange column filled the city with positive and bright colors.

Later in the central square held another parade – a parade of figures of tigers.

It was noisy, fun and contrast: the orange balls perfectly looked at the white background.
