APEC summit in Vladivostok

Before the summit were build symbolic objects: bridges, new campus FEFU, roads, new airport, opera and ballet theater, started construction of hotels, oceanarium and other objects.

In the days of the summit, which was held in September 2012, a huge APEC logo was depicted in the central square of the city.

Pavilion of e-government was also installed

It has been a number of other events.

Summit was closed with fireworks. I remember well the day: Vladivostok showed his character – suddenly a heavy downpour began straight during the fireworks .

But the people stood under umbrellas, and some just in the rain. The preparations for the summit was not ideal, but it breathed new life into the city.
